The Swiss family-owned company, ISA bodywear, is one of the leading manufacturers of high-quality daywear, nightwear and loungewear for discerning customers in the men, women, children and babies segment. For over 170 years, we – now the 7th generation – have been inspiring our customers with comfortable and durable products, mainly manufactured in Switzerland and Europe. Quality is very important to us, and it’s not just empty words: we only use OEKO-TEX® -Standard-100- certified fabrics, and we produce almost 80 % of our fabrics at our own knitting factory in Amriswil.

For us, sustainability does not just mean environmentally friendly raw materials, such as Max Havelaar Organic and Fairtrade cotton or Tencel TM Micromodal. Thanks to the short distance between our sites in Switzerland and Portugal, our carbon footprint is low. What’s more, at our factory in Portugal, we get 100 % of the energy we need for our manufacturing process from the solar power we produce at our own site. ISA bodywear received the Energy efficiency and climate protection award from Act for this. We are proud to continue the mission, just as our ancestors successfully did before us: we want to inspire our customers with high-quality, comfortable underwear that is as sustainably produced as possible. We stake our reputations on that.

Since 1849 we have been passionate about select materials and perfect cuts. We combine tradition and innovation, and we know what men and women really like to wear under their clothes.

PRODUCTION LOCATION SWITZERLAND

We put as much of Switzerland as possible into our products! Most of our products go through the following manufacturing process: design & development, material production and 40 % of the tailoring take place in Switzerland. The remainder of the tailoring, sewing and packing will be carried out by our subsidiary in Portugal.

We are fully aware of our social and ecological responsibility! Therefore we favor a sustainable and environmentally friendly production. Thanks to our ultra-modern solar plant in Portugal, our products are 100% solar-powered.
