Material
In Amriswil we knit the high-quality yarns from our suppliers on machines with up to 6,000 needles to create the basic material.
Finishing
The process of finishing and dyeing the basic materials is handled by E. Schellenberg Textildruck AG in Fehraltorf. Here, the materials are also printed with a huge variety of patterns.
Cutting
We have been careful to maintain the optimum fit for our products ever since 1849. Most of the materials knitted in Amriswil are also cut to size there straight away using state-of-the-art equipment. In the case of materials with a checked pattern, cutting to size is performed manually.
Sewing
Sewing is carried out by our highly-qualified team in Portugal. The process of sewing together the separate sections is managed by personnel from the plant in Switzerland, and products undergo stringent checking before being sent out all over the world.
Our factory in Portugal is BSCI certified. Amfori BSCI certification ensures that the supplier treats people and the environment responsibly during production. Amfori is the leading international business association for free and sustainable trade.
