Innovative loungewear made from 100 % recycled cotton: We are setting new standards
Together with Säntis Textiles AG and E. Schellenberg Textildruck AG, we are breaking new ground in the textile industry. With the RCO100 project, we are making a strong statement for sustainable fashion „Made in Switzerland“. RCO100 gives rise to the world's first 100 % recycled cotton.
Circular economy meets Swiss precision
At the heart of RCO100 is the complete recycling of cotton – without chemical additives and without water. The Säntis Textiles AG in Bühler has developed an innovative process for this, in which new fibres are obtained from old cotton textiles. This recycled cotton is spun into yarn and knitted into the finest fabrics at our site in Amriswil.
From old to new – local and eco-friendly
The entire manufacturing process – from recycling the fibres, to knitting the fabrics, through to dyeing and finishing at E. Schellenberg Textildruck AG in the Zurich Oberland – takes place in Switzerland. This guarantees not only the highest quality and short transport routes, but also transparent, ecologically responsible production.
All offcuts from production, as well as worn-out garments, are collected and fed back into the recycling process at Säntis Textiles AG. They are processed once again into new RCO100 yarn.
Sustainable loungewear with style
Together, we are launching an exclusive loungewear collection made from RCO100. Made from 100 % recycled cotton, the loungewear collection combines sustainability with modern design and premium wearing comfort. It shows that environmentally conscious fashion means no compromise in terms of aesthetics or quality. The new loungewear collection will be available from autumn in various fashion stores and department stores.

With RCO100, together with our partners we want to make a strong statement for a future-proof textile industry. This collaboration shows that the Swiss textile industry is looking to the future with confidence despite the challenges. We are taking new paths to create high-quality and environmentally friendly products.
The project illustrates how the circular economy can be put into practice in concrete terms – innovative, local and with a clear focus on environmental compatibility.
